Duncan is the managing partner of Smith Alliance Lawyers &Notaries and focuses primarily on criminal defence, real estate law, and estate matters. Duncan’s prior work experience includes the roles of Crown prosecutor and then civil litigator for the Government of British Columbia, federal Crown prosecutor for the Government of Canada, and assisting clients with family law, civil litigation, and various other legal matters. In 2010 Duncan opened his firm, now known as Smith Alliance Lawyers & Notaries, and emphasizes providing professional, courteous and effective service to his clients. When not practicing law, you’ll likely find Duncan downhill skiing, biking, or otherwise outdoors enjoying the beautiful Kootenay area.
